A exposição Boa Tarde às Coisas Aqui em Baixo, de Tiago Mestre e Dudi Maia Rosa, pode ser entendida como uma narrativa que se debruça especificamente sobre a relação do individuo com a paisagem, remetendo para a ligação profunda e ancestral entre a forma construída e a forma natural. 

O ponto de partida conceitual é a relação entre pensamento e exterioridade presente no universo dos dois artistas, a afinidade da obra com o mundo sensual, com a paisagem, com o corpo e com o cosmos. A escultura é entendida como um dos meios privilegiados na mediação dessas duas instâncias do processo criativo: o pensamento e o fazer.

OLHÃO is pleased to present the duo show Good afternoon to things down here by Tiago Mestre and Dudi Maia Rosa. The exhibition can be seen as a narrative that focuses specifically on one’s relationship with the landscape, referring to the deep and ancestral connection between nature and built form.

The conceptual starting point is the thought-exteriority connection that is present in the universe of the two artists: the affinity of the work with the sensual world, with the landscape, with the body and with the cosmos. The sculptures presented are understood as one of the privileged means of mediating these two instances of the creative process: thinking and doing.
